External Competitions
Our membership of the EAF (East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies) and by affiliation, the PAGB (Photographic Alliance of Great Britain), gives us a wide selection of opportunities to compete against other clubs throughout the season. In so doing, members are able to appreciate the vision and skills of a large population of photographers.
All members are very welcome to attend all these competitions and all work will be considered for selection and subsequent entry into external competitions. Ask the External Competitions secretary for details of selection evenings.

Bedfordshire Invitation Inter-Club Competition. Friday 28th October 2011.
Hosted by Letchworth Garden City CC
An annual competition for digitally projected images between local clubs. Each club submits 6 images and a reserve. The location rotates around the participating clubs.
3 Way Battle - Bedford, Letchworth and Biggleswade. Tuesday 29th November 2011.
Hosted by Bedford Camera Club
An annual informal competition with 10 prints and 10 digitally projected from each club. The venue alternates between clubs
Cambridge Camera Club Interclub Digital Competition. Saturday 21st January 2012
Hosted by Cambridge Camera Club at Whittlesford Village Hall. Cambs
A competition for digitally projected images organised by Cambridge Camera Club between a large number of clubs from our region. An entry consists of 5 images and a reserve.
EAF Inter-Club Print and Digital Projection Competition. Sunday February 12th 2012
Hosted by EAF at The Latton Bush Centre, Harlow Essex, CM18 7BL
Member clubs from the EAF can submit 25 (+5 reserves) digital images and a similar number of prints for this competition. The judging takes place on one day. Images are scored by 3 judges. A very popular EAF event.
St Ives Interprint Competition. Saturday 25th February 2012
Hosted by St Ives PC at Free Church, Market Hill, St Ives. PE275AL
An interclub print competition with many clubs from our regions each submitting 8 Prints. The exhibition is hung on a Saturday usually at the end of February at The Free Church in St Ives. Prints are judged and can be viewed during the afternoon. In the evening, copies of the prints are digitally projected and the judge passes his comments on them. An excellent exhibition to visit to see a variety of outstanding work.

A battle hosted by Peterborough P.S. between clubs located within a 45 mile radius of Peterborough. 6 digitally projected images from each club are required

An annual informal competition with 10 prints and 10 digitally projected from each club. The venue rotates around the three clubs.

An interclub competition for short AV's - less than 5 minutes - for local clubs. The 2 winning AVs from the BCC competition on January 24th will be submitted.
