The club participates in a number of external competitions throughout the season. All members are very welcome to attend all these competitions and are encouraged to submit their work to the External Competition Secretary for selection for the Club's entry. Bedfordshire Invitation Inter-Club Competition
An annual competition for digitally projected images between local clubs. Each club submits 6 images and a reserve. The location rotates around the participating clubs.
Bedford & Biggleswade Battle
An annual informal competition with 15 prints and 15 digitally projected from each club. The venue alternates between the two clubs
Cambridge Camera Club Interclub Digital Competition
A competition for digitally projected images organised by Cambridge Camera Club between a large number of clubs from our region. An entry consists of 5 images and a reserve.
St Ives Interprint Competition
An interclub print competition with many clubs from our regions each submitting 8 Prints. The exhibition is hung on a Saturday usually at the end of February at The Free Church in St Ives. Prints are judged and can be viewed during the afternoon. In the evening, copies of the prints are digitally projected and the judge passes his comments on them. An excellent exhibition to visit to see a variety of outstanding work.
EAF Inter-Club Print and Digital Projection Competition
Member clubs from the EAF can submit 25 (+5 reseves) digital images and a similar number of prints for this competition. The judging takes place on one day. Images are scored by three judges. A popular EAF event.
Beds 3 Way Battle - Bedford, Shillington and Kempston Clubs
An annual informal competition with 10 prints and 10 digitally projected from each club. The venue rotates around the three clubs.
Central Club Challenge
A battle hosted by New City PS. 5 digitally projected images from each club. Venue is Aspley Guise Village Hall
Peterborough Brotherhood Challenge Cup
A battle hosted by Peterborough P.S. between clubs located within a 45 mile radius of Peterborough. 6 digitally projected images from each club. Venue is The Parkway Sports & Social Club, Peterborough
A45 Challenge Cup
An interclub competition hosted by Bury St Edmunds P.S. featuring clubs along the route of the old A45. 6 digitally projected images from each club. Venue is The County Upper School, Bury St Edmunds
Felicity Bickley AV Trophy
An interclub competition for short AV's - less than 5 minutes - for local clubs. Hosting the competition rotates around the participating clubs.
